Pilates Classes

Pilates suits all ages from athletes to people with low fitness levels; people with limited mobility or rehabilitating from injuries and pregnant women.

We have small classes, duets or private sessions with individual attention by a 18 year experienced and qualified Pilates Instructor and Personal Trainer.

You will finish the class feeling totally refreshed and so flexible.

Cardio Pilates

Cardio Pilates is a FIIT class with a high intensity combination of Pilates and cardio moves that will get your heart pumping and that blood moving! This class is for experienced clients only.

Matwork Pilates

Matwork involves using your body weight to perform Pilates exercises while laying on the floor. Exercises can be modified to suit your fitness level and when you have had “one of those days”.

There are also several ways in which we can activate the target muscles so if one method is not comfortable we can swap it out.

Pilates is great for fitness, toning your body from head to foot, improving your stability, flexibility and strength! Pilates will change the way you think about exercise.

Pilates Healthy Backs

We only have one body, and as we get older, we find that various sports and our lifestyles in our youth come back to haunt us, or we have had an incident occur causing injury.

Backcare Pilates concentrates on strengthening your whole back, treating your body holistically. Muscles often need to be retrained and strengthened, including the surrounding muscles and joints as well. All clients registering with the Studio for the first time, must attend the consultation in the first instance to discuss your needs.

This is a free consultation. Phone us to arrange a suitable day and time.

After the Consultation you can attend the Back Care classes until such time you feel comfortable enough with your body to progress to the general matwork classes.

Dont’ be fooled though – I promise you a good workout.

Personal Training

A private session provides dedicated instructing to you where we can focus on your specific issues and health goals. Suitable for both men and women, Mindy is a qualified and experienced Personal Trainer in addition to being a Pilates Instructor. Clients have a choice of Cardio, strength, circuit and HIIT sessions. We have a variety of strength and cardio equipment in the Studio for client use.

Our classes are small with a maximum of 6-8 people per class.

I HAVE AN INJURY; CAN I DO PILATES?

Yes, you can, all new clients undergo an assessment with consultation prior to commencing Pilates and Dr Mindy will also liaise with your health professional to obtain advice on any physical limitations, or areas to focus on, before you commence classes.

I HAVE NEVER DONE PILATES BEFORE: WHAT IS BEST FOR ME?

All new clients are required to attend a free consultation and assessment before you commence classes, where we will discuss your needs with you and teach you the key principles of the method.
