Ask Mindy about the Sporn Stop Pulling Harness – Yes I sell them at a very reasonable price – from $25.00 for a small dog. Do they work – absolutely – ready my story of how I found the harness and the benefits it gave to my dogs and I.
When Mr B, my Border Collie X Beagle went walkies with me, it usually turned into a pretty unpleasant experience for me and not so great for Mr B as he constantly pulled very hard on the lead and was constantly coughing from the collar being too tight on his throat! My shoulder was always sore after the walk and it was becoming chronic pain for me as well.
I love watching Dr Harry on BHG and there was one particular episode that changed the way that we walked forever.
Dr Harry was showing a woman with a similar problem with her dog, a type of harness that was said to instantly stop pulling. It certainly seem to work on the pooch in question!
I did some research and looked up the harness. The philosophy being how it works is very simple and it really does work. I purchased one for Mr B and another for Snugglepot….. and I fell in love with them, the stop pulling harness really does work, not with those horrid nose/face straps or muzzles either.
My other passion besides teaching Pilates is Canine Myofacial Therapy – I treat dogs and other animials with massage and Myofacial release, but that is a story for another day!
Quite often though, when providing massage services to my four legged clients, their hoomans would tell me the stories about the pulling and sore shoulders and necks caused from it! I then sourced the harnesses and have been providing them for sale to massage and Pilates clients since 2016.
So if you have a pooch and you love the walks for your exercise as well as your fur family member’s wellbeing, you can contact me to find out more about the amazing Sporn Harness.
They come in a wide range of sizes to suit our tiny to huge pooches!
They really do work! Wendy reckons that her and hubby are shocked at the difference in their walks with their very exuberant 8 month old Arab, and without pain from the constant pulling and lunging. And Naomi agrees – she and her hubbie were also very happy with their harness for their Boisterous Labrador, can now walk her dog while taking her baby out in the pram as well. Something that could not be thought of previously.
The harness can be used to train your dog out of their bad habit. I had varying degress of success with the training. Mr B had the very stubborn Beagle trait in him in many different ways. I could use the Sporn harness on him for a month or two and then try walking him with just his collar again.
Well, that would last for around 2-3 walks before he realised (the smart Border Collie in him) that the harness wasn’t on for the walk and he and went straight back to pulling his lead.
Snugglepot on the other hand, a full Border Collie, is ridiculously smart. She had the harness on for around one month and has not had it on since. That was 6 years ago! Mr B is no longer with us now, and his harness was donated to another person in need, so that the benefits of the harness could be enjoyed by another pooch and their Hooman!
THEY REALLY DO WORK AND THEY DO CHANGE YOUR WALK FROM AN UNENJOYABLE CHORE TO A VERY CALM WALK THAT BENEFITS EVERYONE!
